World Liver Day: How to Keep liver Healthy 

World Liver Day is an annual event observed on April 19th to raise awareness about the importance of liver health & to highlight the impact of liver diseases worldwide.

The day was first observed in 2012 & has since been recognized as an important global health event.

There are some tips by following which you can keep your liver healthy forever. Let's know about the tips.

Obesity & excess weight can cause liver damage & fatty liver disease. Losing weight can improve liver function & reduce the risk of liver disease.

Maintain Healthy Weight

A healthy diet is essential for liver health. Choose foods that are high in fiber, vitamins, & minerals, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, & lean proteins. 

Eat a balanced diet:

Limit alcohol intake:

 Excessive alcohol consumption is one of the leading causes of liver disease. Limit your alcohol intake to no more than one drink per day for women & two drinks per day for men. 

Regular physical activity can improve liver function & reduce the risk of liver disease. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise most days of the week.

Exercise regularly: 

Drinking enough water can help flush toxins out of the liver and keep it functioning properly. Aim for at least eight glasses of water per day.
