NASCAR race at Las Vegas 2023

NASCAR will have its first race on a 1.5-mile track in Sin City in 2023. This will be the first of two races this season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

After starting the season at the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway and racing last week at the 2-mile Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, NASCAR will move to the second race of its West Coast swing on an intermediate track.

It is also a homecoming for last week's winner, Kyle Busch, whose new team, Richard Childress Racing, won its first race at Fontana.

In 23 races at his home track in Las Vegas, the driver from Las Vegas has only won once, from the pole, in 2009. However, starting with the spring race in 2021, he has finished in the top four four times in a row.

The Pennzoil 400 starts at 3:30 p.m. ET (12:30 p.m. local) at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
