As you get older, it's important to keep your body strong and toned, especially your legs. With warmer weather on the way, your legs will look great if they are slim and fit.
Squats are a full-body activity that improve core strength, mobility, and general strength.
1. Squats
To do bodyweight squats, you have to lower yourself until your thighs are parallel to the ground or further. Press down on both feet to stand up again.
The deadlift will work the back, glutes, and hamstrings. Unilateral deadlifts can rectify muscle imbalances.
2. Deadlifts
Hold the barbell and thrust your hips forwards to standing. Push both feet down for balance. Keep a strong core and straight back when standing. Hinge your hips as you descend the barbell.
Rowing is another exercise that is mostly done with the legs. So much so that driving your legs makes up 60% of the exercise.
3. Rowing
You're doing all the things you can do (from flexion in the ankles, knees, and hips in the catch to extension in the ankles, knees, and hips in the finish).
