EA SPORTS AND PGA TOUR LOCK IN MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT FOR GOLF CLASH
The deal adds real-life golf courses to the EA SPORTS PGA TOUR console and PC game, as well as to an EA SPORTS mobile game. The TPC Sawgrass course, which is where THE PLAYERS Championship is held, is now open to Golf Clash players.
Fans will be able to practise for the first time in Golf Clash to get a chance to play in THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. This will happen today.
This is the start of a long-term deal between EA SPORTS, Playdemic, and the PGA TOUR to add a number of real-world courses and famous events to Golf Clash over the next few years.
In honour of the event, nine of THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass's holes are open for practise rounds today, March 6. Players are welcome to try out the courses.
The nine holes that were chosen for the Golf Clash community are some of the most memorable in golf. They offer players a great mix of fun and competitive options.
In-game, players can earn the chance to play in THE PLAYERS Championship 9-Hole Cup qualification rounds on March 9th and 10th. Players who make it to the next round can play in the tournament until March 11th.
In THE PLAYERS Golden Shot event, all Golf Clash players can try to get a hole-in-one at the famous 17th hole. If they do, they might get rewards and a unique, officially licenced TPC Sawgrass ball to use in the game.
From March 7th to March 9th, all Golf Clash players will be able to buy an additional THE PLAYERS ball from the game's in-game store.
